         BDE-PR1EP3 Drive Support Software Update – Release Notes

1. Introduction

   This program is an update designed to add support for the BDE‑PR1EP3 drive 
   to the Total Disc Maker system you are currently using, without altering 
   any of your existing Total Disc Maker functions.
    
2. Systems Requiring This Update

 (1) Environments where EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver.7.xx / 8.xx / 9.xx / 10.00
     is installed.

 (2) Environments where the following device configurations are to be 
     installed:
      PP‑100III + BDE‑PR1EP3
      PP‑50II   + BDE‑PR1EP3

  Note:
   We recommend upgrading your system to EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver.10.01 or
   later.
   EPSON Total Disc Maker Ver.10.01 natively supports the BDE‑PR1EP3.

3. File Configuration

   TDM_Update.exe      Update program

4. How to Apply the Update

   A Windows restart is required after applying the update.
   If any programs are currently running, please close them before executing
   the update.

 (1) Login to Windows using a user account with administrator privileges.

 (2) Execute TDM_Update.exe.

 (3) When the following message appears, click [OK].
     "Do you want to add the drive that Total Disc Maker supports?" 

 (4) When the update finishes successfully, the following message will appear:
      "Update has been finished correctly.
       Restart Windows to enable the Total Disc Maker.
       Restart Windows right now?"

     Click [OK] if you are ready to restart Windows.

 (5) Windows will restart, and Total Disc Maker will be ready for use.

5. Uninstallation

   The updated components cannot be uninstalled independently.
   To uninstall this update, you must uninstall EPSON Total Disc Maker itself.

   Uninstallation Procedure

 (1) Uninstall EPSON Total Disc Maker.

 (2) Delete any files that the uninstaller was unable to remove automatically.
     Using File Explorer, delete any files remaining in the folder where
     EPSON Total Disc Maker was installed.
     
     For default installations, the folders are:

      32‑bit OS:
       C:\Program Files\EPSON\Total Disc Maker

      64‑bit OS:
       C:\Program Files (x86)\EPSON\Total Disc Maker

6. Notes

 (1) If you upgrade EPSON Total Disc Maker on a system where this update has
     been applied, please upgrade to Ver.10.01 or later.
     If you upgrade to a version earlier than Ver.10.01, the BDE‑PR1EP3 will 
     no longer be usable.
     In that case, run this update program again after installation.

 (2) How to confirm that the update has been applied:
     If the following file exists in the EPSON Total Disc Maker installation 
     folder,the update has been successfully applied:

      BDE-PR1EP3.txt
